We were getting into our vehicle to check out the new Carmax that opened when another salesman named Omar overheard us talking to each other and asked us about our shopping experience and why were we leaving, when we explained to him about the bad customer experience we just had he apologized. He gave us his card and told us to call him if we wanted the car then walked off? ( lol.really?) This is the exact reason I didn't want to look in Elk Grove. (During a test drive shouldn't this be the salesmen's opportunity to actually sell the car?)Īfter we returned to the dealership we asked if there was room for negotiation he seemed firm and said to look around at other places. The only time we heard from him was when he would say.turn left. this salesman did not tell us anything about the car. My son then wanted to take a test drive so the salesman pulled out the car and we took it for a test drive but let me tell you. ![]() After checking out the car my son liked we had to look for the same salesman who had the key so we could start it up (Really? who walks away from potential customer looking at a car?). The salesman gave us some information and he walked back to the group of other sales associates to chat it up. Nissan had a couple of cars that he liked and was approached by a salesman ( I won't mention names). After looking at a few dealerships we stopped by Nissan. We had a few bad experiences with the dealerships in Elk Grove in the past so we really didn't think he would seriously buy a car here but my son wanted to look anyway. They did find a few to keep in mind but he wanted to look at other dealerships first. My son's Grandparents had been looking to buy a car for him during the last few weeks in Roseville and Sacramento. ![]()
